The Embassy of Finland in Kuala Lumpur has introduced Elisa Shafiqah as the newest member of its Political and Trade Team.
As Team Assistant, Elisa will support Team Finland by promoting trade activities, connecting Finnish and Malaysian businesses, and monitoring Malaysia’s political and economic developments.
Elisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in International and Strategic Studies from Universiti Malaya. She has previously worked closely with Malaysian government agencies on multilateral diplomacy and defence-related matters, experiences she says have provided valuable insights into Malaysia’s political landscape.
“I’m excited to apply these insights in strengthening Finland–Malaysia bilateral ties,” Elisa noted in her introduction.
The Embassy welcomed Elisa with enthusiasm, highlighting her role in furthering collaboration between Finland and Malaysia on their Facebookpage.
