Finland and Vietnam meet in Spain to discuss cooperation

Vietnam’s Deputy Prime Minister Hồ Đức Phớc met with Finland’s Minister for Foreign Trade and Development, Ville Tavio, in Seville, Spain, on Monday 1 July 2024 to strengthen bilateral cooperation on green trade and education.

According to Vietnam News, the Deputy PM welcomed Finland’s continued support in areas such as innovation, education, and sustainable development. He encouraged more Finnish investment in green growth, forestry, digital transformation, and circular economy projects in Vietnam.

Minister Tavio affirmed Finland’s readiness to expand cooperation, particularly in clean energy and vocational education. The two sides also discussed boosting two-way trade and deepening technical partnerships.
