Finnish embassy visited ‘Stopping Exploitation through Accessible Services’

The Embassy of Finland in Bangkok visited SEAS (Stopping Exploitation through Accessible Services) of Change’s learning centre in Rayong on 29 October.

This project is funded by Kesko Corporation of Finland, Finnpartnership programme of Finnish government, SIDA of Sweden and the Richard and Helen DeVos foundation. The project aims to teach Thai, English, Khmer and mathematics to the children of Cambodian immigrant workers. Once the children know enough Thai, they can start in local Thai schools. Over 1150 children have received educational services in the learning centers of Rayong and Trat, of which over 220 have started in Thai schools.
