
Finnish material-handling company Konecranes has celebrated 50 years of operations in the Asia-Pacific region at an event in Jakarta.
Konecranes began operating in the region in Singapore in 1976 and entered the Indonesian market in 1998.
Finland’s Chargé d’Affaires in Indonesia, Teemu Laakkonen, attended the anniversary celebration on 6 August. In his remarks, he highlighted the company’s focus on innovation amid current geopolitical changes.
Konecranes manufactures cranes and other material-handling equipment and provides maintenance services to industrial and port customers.
