A 52-year-old Finnish man tragically fell to his death from the 11th floor of a condominium in Pattaya shortly after midnight on December 10.

Police and emergency responders were called to the scene at a building on Pattaya Second Road in Nong Prue, Chon Buri. A shocked security guard initially mistook the body for debris before realizing the grim truth and contacting authorities.

Police Lieutenant Manasak Polyeam, leading the investigation, confirmed the man’s identity as Karppinen. Preliminary findings suggest the fall may have been accidental or intentional, though the exact circumstances remain unclear.

The body has been sent to the Police General Hospital for an autopsy. The Finnish man’s family will need to provide documentation to claim his remains.

Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fall.
