Danes living in Thailand and their families are invited to a joint information meeting in Bangkok on Wednesday 5 February, focusing on key rules and issues affecting Danes abroad.
The event is jointly organised by Danes Worldwide, The Royal Danish Embassy and DanCham.
According to the organisers, the meeting aims to provide updated and practical information for Danes residing in Thailand, particularly those with families or considering a future move back to Denmark.
Topics on the agenda include family reunification rules for returning to Denmark with a foreign spouse, retention of Danish citizenship for children born abroad under the so-called 22-year rule, questions related to the Danish national pension (folkepension), and potential challenges when relocating back to Denmark.
The meeting will take place at the Embassy of Denmark in the Sathorn area of Bangkok and will run from 17:30 to 21:00.
