Jotun, a global leader in paints and coatings, has been awarded the prestigious Norwegian Export Award 2025. This accolade recognizes Norwegian companies that have successfully created value in Norway through international markets during 2024.

The award was presented at an event organized by Innovation Norway and Eksfin (Export Financing Norway). Norwegian Minister of Trade and Industry, Cecilie Myrseth, highlighted Jotun’s achievements.

“This year’s winner has over time demonstrated unique industrial expertise. The company has experienced strong growth and left a clear mark on both its local market at home and in its global markets,” Cecilie Myrseth said.

Founded nearly a century ago in Sandefjord, Norway, Jotun has expanded its operations to over 100 countries, employing more than 10,600 people and operating 40 factories worldwide. The company’s extensive presence in Asia underscores its commitment to international growth and market leadership.

Upon receiving the award, Jotun’s President and CEO, Morten Fon, expressed his pride:

“I think it’s great that this award can go to a company that not only exports goods but delivers technology and expertise to the entire world. Now I am first and foremost proud on behalf of all my colleagues. Thank you very much.”
