The LEGO Group has signed an education cooperation agreement with Hanoi’s People’s Committee during the Danish-Vietnamese business forum in Copenhagen on 20 October.
The agreement was among 15 partnerships announced by the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI). The signing ceremony took place at Industriens Hus during the Vietnamese state visit to Denmark.
DI lists education as the focus of the LEGO agreement. However, its announcement does not specify the projects involved, a timetable or funding.
LEGO was also among six Danish companies attending a roundtable with Vietnamese President Tô Lâm and Denmark’s King Frederik during the forum.
Existing education initiatives
The Danish company already supports learning activities in Vietnam. In April 2025, LEGO reported that its partnership with the National Centre for Special Education had distributed more than 2,500 LEGO Braille Bricks toolkits to educational institutions.
It also supported the Build the Change programme in 16 primary schools and community spaces in Binh Duong province. These are existing initiatives; DI’s announcement does not link them to the new Hanoi agreement.
