One of Denmark’s biggest international stars is heading to Hong Kong.
Mads Mikkelsen will make his debut at Comic Con Hong Kong in May 2026, organisers confirmed on Instagram on February 10. The event is among Asia’s largest celebrations of film, comics and gaming, attracting fans from Hong Kong, mainland China and across the region.
Mikkelsen became a global name as Hannibal Lecter in Hannibal. He played Bond villain Le Chiffre in Casino Royale and led the Oscar-winning Danish film Another Round. He has also appeared in major franchises including Doctor Strange and Fantastic Beasts.
For fans in Hong Kong, it will be a rare chance to meet one of Denmark’s most recognisable faces.
