Parliamentary Delegation led by Speaker of Parliament Dato’ Mohamad Ariff Md Yusof visited Norway around Wednesday, 23 January 2019.
Gunn Jorid Roset, the Ambassador of Norway to Malaysia also accompanied the delegation on this visit.
The purpose of the visit is to learn more about the particularities of the Norwegian democratic system and to meet with representatives from the Norwegian government in the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Fisheries as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The destinations of the visit include the Norwegian legislative assembly (the Storting), Scrutiny and Constitutional Affairs Committee, and the Office of the Auditor-General and the Parliamentary Ombudsman for Public Administration.
