The ambassadors of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden will discuss security, cybersecurity and crisis preparedness at the Nordic Ambassadors’ Forum in Makati on 4 November.
Organised by NordCham Philippines, the forum will explore Nordic approaches to keeping societies functioning during crises and their relevance to the Philippines.
The discussions will centre on “total defence”, an approach involving government, businesses, civil society and citizens in preparing for and responding to threats.
Protecting essential services
Cybersecurity and the protection of critical infrastructure are among the topics on the programme. The ambassadors will also discuss public trust, emergency response and cooperation across society.
The programme includes two ambassador discussions, covering the foundations of resilient societies and preparedness, security and international cooperation. Both sessions will be followed by questions from the audience.
The forum takes place at BDO Towers Paseo, 8741 Paseo de Roxas, Makati, from 8am to noon. It begins with registration and breakfast networking and ends with a networking reception.
Registration and the full programme are available on NordCham Philippines’ event page.
