Yesterday the Embassy of Denmark in Thailand announced the registration opening for the Nordic Run 2023 in Bangkok on its Facebook page. Just an hour later, the event was fully booked, the embassy wrote in the comment section today 18 October.

That means 300 people, which was the maximum number of participants possible, signed up rather quickly.

Participants can look forward to a slow – or fast – morning, where competition and medals is not the aim. Instead, participants are encouraged to simply enjoy the beautiful scenery of the park as they run together with fellow Nordic partners and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. Fruit will be served at the finish line, however!

For more information about the event, click here or make sure to keep an eye on the embassy’s social platforms.

If you didn’t manage to get a space secured, then you can perhaps still wake up early and watch, as hundreds of Nordics will run/walk either 5 or 10 kilometers in the park from 7am.
