IKEA reduced prices for 144 of its products in Singapore in September, and the Swedish furniture chain has plans to continue reducing prices for additional products.
IKEA Singapore has announced, that more than 60 additional products may see lower prices from April 1, 2024.
The price cuts in IKEA Singapore come as part of IKEA’s global efforts to lower the prices of its products.
“Now that the raw material prices and transportation costs are going in the right direction, we are in the position to do so,” said the chief executive of Inter-IKEA Group, Mr Jon Abrahamsson Ring.
According to Channel News Asia, there have been price cuts of up to 20% in IKEA stores in Singapore.
