Singapore audiences will this week get a chance to watch the acclaimed Norwegian psychological drama Armand as part of the European Film Festival.
The film will be screened on 15 May 2026 at Filmhouse in Golden Mile Tower.
Directed by Norwegian filmmaker Halfdan Ullmann Tøndel, Armand follows the fallout after a six-year-old boy is accused of crossing boundaries with his best friend at school. As uncertainty grows around the incident, parents and school staff are drawn into an increasingly intense conflict shaped by guilt, obsession and perception.
The film stars Norwegian actress Renate Reinsve, internationally known for her award-winning performance in The Worst Person in the World.
The Norwegian Embassy in Singapore is promoting the screening as part of this year’s European Film Festival, which showcases contemporary European cinema to audiences in Singapore.
The embassy described Armand as a “powerful drama” that has received strong reactions from both critics and audiences.
