European Film Festival in Singapore to screen Danish murder mystery

A Danish crime film set in the 1920s will be shown in Singapore this May as part of the European Film Festival 2026, Danish Business Association Singapore reports.

The screening takes place on Sunday 3 May at 17:00 at Golden Mile Tower, presented by the Embassy of Denmark in Singapore.

The film, Special Unit: The First Murder, follows a newly formed special police unit in Denmark that is tasked with solving complex crimes. When a body is discovered in a burnt-down summer house, the investigation quickly exposes corruption and power struggles among the elite.

The screening is part of the European Film Festival 2026, which showcases European films to audiences in Singapore and promotes cultural exchange.

Tickets are available via the festival’s official booking link.
