On 14 April 2021 the Norwegian embassy released a thank you note from a visit to Sabah, that read:
Norway is proud to have an honorary consulate in Kota Kinabalu to visit «the land below the winds» – Sabah. The Embassy has been in Sabah to meet with the consulate for the annual inspection. The honorary consuls are an important part of the Norwegian consular efforts all around the world. Thank you Anders Møller and other Norwegian consuls for accepting this role.
