Norway’s Minister of International Development, Åsmund Aukrust, will visit Vietnam to hold meetings with Vietnamese authorities and partners on 9-10 February, according to the Norwegian Embassy in Hanoi.

The embassy said the meetings will cover several issues, with a focus on Vietnam’s green transition and the development of a more circular economy.

The visit takes place as Norway and Vietnam mark 55 years of diplomatic relations (1971–2026), according to the embassy. It said the visit is expected to contribute to further strengthening cooperation between the two countries, particularly in areas of shared interest.
