Norwegians are invited to celebrate 17 May in Pattaya and Singapore

The Norwegian Seamen’s Church in Pattaya and Singapore invites Norwegians and friends to celebrate Norway’s Constitution Day on May 17.

Both events offer traditional 17 May programmes with parades, speeches, food and activities for all ages.

Pattaya: Parade, brunch and garden party

In Pattaya, the celebration starts in the morning and runs throughout the day.

The programme includes a church service, followed by brunch, a 17 May parade and a garden party with music, games and food.

Norwegian Ambassador to Thailand, Astrid Emilie Helle, will also attend and give a greeting.

Programme highlights:

10:00 Church service
11:30 Opening speech and parade
12:30 Garden celebration with music, games and food

Food tickets are available, with prices starting from 200 THB. Children under 10 receive a discount, while children under 3 attend free.

Singapore: Afternoon celebration and parade

In Singapore, the celebration takes place from midday with a more compact programme.

Guests can expect food, games, music and speeches, followed by a traditional 17 May parade.

14:20 17. May parade

Tickets cost 35 SGD for adults and children, and 25 SGD for students. The ticket includes food, drinks, ice cream and activities.
