He was also a former Chairman of the Danish-Thai Chamber of Commerce. He is married to the artist Elisabeth Romhild.

At the same meeting, Jan Dam Pedersen was elected Vice Chairman, continuing from his previous term on the council, while Ole Kruse Kappelgaard remains as Treasurer. Other elected members of the  board are Liv Stagsted, René Dam Andersen, Claus Nielsen, and Kristin Koed.

The church council is responsible for overseeing the operations and development of the Danish Church in Thailand, working closely with Pastor Nicolaj Stubbe Horlyck. It also includes representatives from the Danish Embassy in Thailand and the Danish-Thai Chamber of Commerce.

Looking ahead, the council aims to strengthen the church as a cultural and religious meeting place for Danes living in Thailand, with a focus on ensuring its financial sustainability.

The board elected on 31 March 2025.
