The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Manila has welcomed Øystein Bell as its new First Secretary, Head of Administration, and Consul.
Øystein previously served as First Secretary at the Norwegian Embassy in Singapore for three years and brings extensive experience from a range of diplomatic postings worldwide.
He began his posting in Manila with a special occasion, celebrating his birthday during his first week. On this occasion, Ambassador Christian Halaas Lyster presented him with a token from Norway’s Minister of Foreign Affairs in recognition of his years of dedicated service.
“It is great to be in Manila and to work with the fantastic team here at the Embassy. I’m very much looking forward to assisting Norwegian citizens and strengthening the already strong relationship between Norway and the Philippines over the next three years,” Øystein said.
