Stockholm Environment Institute Asia will present a regional adaptation investment facility at a climate-finance forum in Bangkok on 8 October 2026.
The Swedish Embassy-supported event will examine how vulnerable communities across Asia can gain better access to funding for climate adaptation.
Participants from financial institutions, governments, research organisations and civil society will discuss how to strengthen local financial capacity and connect communities with suitable investors and funding channels.
The programme will also introduce tools designed to help institutions and communities prepare climate projects for investment.
SEI Asia is organising the forum with collaborators including the Embassy of Sweden, the Rockefeller Foundation, the International Climate Initiative and Chulalongkorn University’s Center for Ecological Economics.
The event forms part of Bangkok Climate Action Week, which runs from 3 to 11 October. The forum takes place at Oriental Residence Bangkok and is open to invited participants only.
