Singapore and Nordic countries rank among world’s most secure for investment

Henley & Partners’ new Global Investment Risk and Resilience Index, released on 27 October 2025, places Singapore alongside Denmark, Norway and Sweden among the world’s most secure destinations for investors, following Switzerland at the top.

The study, developed with AI-analytics platform AlphaGeo, evaluates 150 economies on exposure to geopolitical, economic and climate risks and their preparedness across governance, innovation and climate resilience.

Singapore and the Nordic economies are credited for strong institutions, equitable growth and forward-looking social policies—factors the index associates with lower investment risk and greater resilience.

According to the report, Switzerland leads overall, while Singapore and the Nordic countries feature prominently among the highest-ranked markets for long-term investment security.
