On 12 January 2021 the Embassy of Sweden section office in Yangon released a welcome note about their new team member, as follow:
“We warmly welcome our new colleague Frederik Frisell, who will be replacing Anders Frankenberg as Head of Development Cooperation in Myanmar. Frederik has recently worked with Swedish humanitarian assistance and has visited Yangon and different regions in Myanmar on several occasions during the last years.
Frederik has previously worked with different aspects of international development for 20 years – at Sida, but also at the Swedish Red Cross, Save the Children, Sweden and the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB). Frederik is currently in Sweden with his family, but is very much looking forward to soon move to Myanmar.”
