On 22 February 2021 Embassy of Sweden staff together with colleagues from EU Delegation, Germany and France visited to Battambang.
The Swedish embassy says ” We talked to district and provincial authorities, Buddhist University of Battambang, Cambodia Peace Gallery, UN Office of High Commissioner for Human Rights & human rights organisations on COVID-19, governance, gender, elections, LGBT, youth and human rights. Lots of knowledge and strong people in this beautiful part of Cambodia. We bring with us new perspectives and inputs back to Phnom Penh.
We want to do more joint visits around Cambodia to see and understand better the current context. What do you think: where should we go next?”
