A 74-year-old Swedish man was found dead inside the toilet of his Udon Thani home on April 3, 2019.
According to the police, no suspicious circumstances indicating invasion and burglary were found at the scene. The man was believed to have died for a week before his body was found.
Maliwan Promsiri, the man’s neighbour, told the police that she called the police to check the man’s house because she sensed a rotten smell coming out from the house.
Maliwan said the man lived alone by himself since his wife left him and he also suffered from several illnesses.
His body was sent to Udon Thani Hospital for further autopsy.
