Together with UN Women, All-China Women Federation and the Sino-German CSR Project, China’s Swedish Embassy’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Centre co-organised a conference on Gender Equality and Corporate Social Responsibility: Enhancing Business Competitiveness, that took place in Beijing on November 27.
There were over 300 participants from different background, including journalists and other media representatives. The purpose of the conference was to provide information, incentives, and a roadmap for the private sector in China to integrate gender equality into their CSR strategies and programmes.
The CSR Centre had invited a Swedish expert on gender equality from the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions who presented how Sweden works with integrating and mainstreaming gender equality.
