Two young Norwegians from Steinkjer had a car accident Tuesday night in Hua Hin. In heavy rain their car aquaplaned and hit the crash barrier between the lanes. One of the two young men is seriously injured.
Brita Magnusson, Counsellor at the Norwegian embassy, received notification of the accident Thursday morning Norwegian time.
“We are investigating the circumstances and severity of what has happened. What we do know is that two Norwegian men have ended up in hospital after being involved in an accident,” she told Trønder Newspaper.
The father of one of the young men is in Hua Hin.
“It was raining unbelievable and the car aquaplaned,” he told Trønder Newspaper
He further more told that his son under the circumstances is well, while the other young man condition is serious.
