On Saturday (December 10), a traditional Swedish Lucia celebration will take place in St. John Cathedral in Central, Hong Kong. The Lucia celebrations represent one of the most important cultural traditions in Sweden.
You will experience a Lucia procession, choir music, followed by a traditional “Lucia-fika” with saffron buns and Swedish glögg (mulled wine).
The celebration will be in Swedish; however, everyone (including kids!) is welcome to join and experience the famous Lucia Swedish tradition.
