Swedish-Nigerian Eurodance icon Dr. Alban is set to perform live in Malaysia for the first time this May. The concert will take place at Zepp Kuala Lumpur on Friday 17 May 2025, and marks a long-awaited appearance for fans in the region.

Best known for his global 1992 hit “It’s My Life”, Dr. Alban rose to fame in the 1990s as one of Sweden’s leading musical exports. His distinctive blend of dance beats and socially conscious lyrics helped define the Eurodance era, earning him a loyal following across Europe and beyond.

According to Malaysian entertainment news site Hype.my, the event is organized by David Vision Entertainment. Tickets start at RM208, with VIP seating and group packages also available. The concert is expected to attract both longtime fans and new listeners eager to experience the energy of a Dr. Alban performance live on stage.

Dr. Alban, who was born in Nigeria and moved to Sweden to study dentistry, became a household name in Europe with a string of dancefloor anthems including “Sing Hallelujah!”, “One Love”, and “Look Who’s Talking”. He continues to perform internationally and remains a popular figure in retro music circuits.

Tickets can be purchased via Ticket2u and are already selling quickly.
