Swedish singer Sophie Zelmani to perform across China for 13 days

Sophie Zelmani, a Swedish singer and songwriter will perform her concerts in more than 10 cities across China.

The China tour this time is Zelmani’s comeback tour–she previously performed in multiple cities in China in 2018.

Her upcoming concerts will be performed under name “the Zelmani’s Sunrise Tour 2019” referring to Zelmani’s new album “Sunrise” and this concert is a part of promoting her latest album released earlier this year.

Zelmani’s tour dates will run from May 17 to June 4 in thirteen cities across China including Beijing and Shanghai.

She will start her tour on May 17 at the Rulun Hall in Renmin University in Beijing and will end her performance in Hong Kong on June 04.

A 47-year-old, Sophie Zelmani was born in the suburbs of Stockholm in 1972. She was introduced to the charm of music by her father who bought her a guitar when she was 14. Zelmani started her musician path by being a songwriter and making some songs at a local studio until she was offered a record deal by Sony Music Sweden which was the big step in her profession.

The popularity in her music can be seen from the appearing of her songs on several TV series and well-known movies. For example, her cover of Bob Dylan’s “Most of the Time” appeared on the soundtrack to Masked and Anonymous. Her song “Stand By” appeared in the film Independence Day (1996) as well as her song “Always You” in the film My Best Friend’s Wedding (1997).

June 04 – Hong Kong, Music Zone, China
