Taiwan has made its first appearance at Sweden Water Expo in Stockholm, bringing six Taiwanese water technology companies together in a pavilion aimed at expanding into the Swedish and Nordic markets.
The Taiwan Water Resources Agency, part of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, organised the delegation for the September 16–17 exhibition. It was led by the Commerce Development Research Institute (CDRI).
The six participating companies — HCP PUMP, Swun Chyan, AnaSystem, Haoyu Watertec, Xiangsheng and Kangyu — presented technologies covering smart water management, deep-well pumping, water filtration and water-quality improvement.
The delegation’s participation is intended to introduce Taiwanese water and sustainability solutions to Swedish and Nordic businesses and create new opportunities for cooperation.
Sweden Water Expo brings together companies and organisations working across the water and wastewater sector. Taiwan’s first participation reflects a broader effort by its water technology industry to expand its presence in European markets.
The Taiwanese delegation said the exhibition would provide an opportunity to showcase Taiwan’s expertise in water resource management, energy efficiency and sustainable technology to potential Nordic partners.
