Thai woman charged with murder after fatal stabbing in Denmark

A 29-year-old Thai woman has been charged with murder following a deadly stabbing near Gjern, Denmark. The victim, a 42-year-old woman also of Thai or Laotian origin, was found at a property reportedly operating as a brothel.

The stabbing occurred Monday between 9 and noon. Police say the victim sustained multiple knife wounds to the neck and abdomen and died at the scene. The suspect drove almost 2 hours away from the scene where she was arrested.

Authorities continue their investigation and are working to contact the victim’s relatives.

Midt- og Vestjyllands Politi has asked for public assistance in locating a stolen Opel Corsa believed to be linked to the crime.
