Bangkok is once again at the center of Thailand’s tourism success.

When digital travel platform Agoda revealed its 2025 Gold Circle Awards, the Thai capital stood out with nearly 100 winning hotels – more than any other city in the country, Agoda reports in a press release.

Across the globe, more than 3,000 hotels were recognized for strong performance, high guest satisfaction, and solid digital presence. Thailand secured a shared third place in the global ranking, alongside Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, and Indonesia.

Within the country, Bangkok led the way, followed by Pattaya and Chiang Mai. These destinations continue to set the standard for both leisure and business travel.

The strong result comes as interest in Thailand keeps rising. Agoda reports an 81 percent increase in accommodation searches year-on-year, driven by a more diverse group of travelers across Asia.

At a recent ceremony in Bangkok, Thailand’s Tourism Authority of Thailand highlighted the importance of cooperation between public and private sectors to maintain high hospitality standards.

According to Agoda, the winning hotels succeed by combining reliable day-to-day operations with strong online performance, making it easier for travelers to choose and trust their stay.
