The Nordics shared green economy experience at the EBTKE2019 expo in Indonesia

H.E. Marina Berg, Ambassador of Sweden to Indonesia with Mr. Arifin Tasrif Indonesian Minister for Energy and Mineral Resources.

The Swedish, Norwegian and Danish embassies together created a Nordic Pavilion at the EBTKE2019 expo in Jakarta on 6 – 8 November 2019. The pavillion provided information about green economy as practiced in the Scandinavian countries.

The EBTKE2019 Conex expo hosted by the Indonesian Renewable Energy Society Indonesia (METI) is the 8th edition. The 2019 theme of the event is “Energy Transition Toward Sustainable Energy” with the full support of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources RI.

On 6th November 2019, Swedish Ambassador Marina Berg was showing around the first honorary guest of the Nordic pavilion, Mr. Arifin Tasrif  Indonesian Minister for Energy and Mineral Resources.

As for the conference part of the expo, Vegard Kaale, Norwaegian Ambassador to Indonesia was a panelist speaker on the topic of  “The Importance of Regulatory Framework for The Introduction of New Initiative, Lessons Learned from Norway on E-mobility”at 1.30-3pm.

Rasmus A. Kristensen, Ambassador of Denmark to Indonesia was a panalist speaker at EBTKE ConEx 2019.

Rasmus Abildgaard Kristensen, Danish Ambassador to Indonesia, was a panelist speaker on the same day regarding “The Importance of Regulatory Framework for The Introduction of New Initiative, Lessons Learned from Denmark” at 3.30-5pm.

For the second day of the expo, Ambassador Marina Berg is scheduled to participate as a panelist speaker for the conference part of the expo, regarding on how Sweden managed to reduce its emissions and switched to renewable energy and fossil-free energy solution at 3.30pm, 7th November 2019.
