Vietnamese Olympic qualifiers received AstraZeneca vaccine


Fifteen local athletes and two foreign sports experts were inoculated against Covid-19 in Hanoi on Tuesday 31 March 2021 in preparation for overseas Olympic qualifiers.

The seventeen fighters and foreign experts of Vietnam’s national taekwondo, judo and wrestling teams were the first athletes to receive the vaccine prior to competing for a spot at Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games set to begin on   23July.

Over 46,000 Vietnamese, mainly frontline workers in the Covid-19 fight, have received their first Covid-19 vaccine shots since 8 March. Continue with the story here
