Danish man Ken Mortensen, 34, was robbed after taking a bar girl in Chiang Mai back to his room at Kalaethong Tower on 1 September 2012 at 1.30am.
Chiang Mai Police received a report yesterday that there was a robbery at Kalaethong Tower, Changklan Road in Chiang Mai on 1 September 2012. According to Mr. Mortensen, he took a Thai lady whom he met at the junction near Mae Ping hotel, Kampangdin Road, to his room. After sleeping with her, he fell asleep and woke up later to find out that the lady disappeared with his assets. Mr. Mortensen told police of her description.
On 2 September 2012, police found a suspect called Ms. Sirilak Sukkaew who worked in a beer bar on Loy Kror road. She had the same vehicle and fitted the description provided by Mr. Mortensen. Ms. Sirilak, 36, was then arrested as Police found more assets in her possession that are reported stolen.
The stolen items included one white HTC mobile phone, Samsung notebook, VCD player, external hard disk, black Puma t-shirt, and white & pink Honda Scoopy motorbike with a plate number จทต92.
