Aftenposten.no invites subscribers to bicycle around Cambodia

The Norwegian news media Aftenposten.no invites subscribers to embark on a scenic bicycle adventure through Cambodia, exploring the country’s rich cultural heritage and breathtaking landscapes. The trip, scheduled for 5 – 16 November 2025, is organized in collaboration with Norrøna Hvitserk Adventure which is the largest organizer of expeditions and adventure tours.

The trip is offers as an exclusive Aftenposten subscriber benefit. Subscribers enjoy a discounted rate of 33,600 NOK, compared to the standard price of 34,600 NOK.

The journey begins with a visit to the iconic Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Cyclists will also explore lesser-known temples such as Beng Mealea before continuing through Cambodia’s vibrant capital, Phnom Penh. The itinerary includes stops at scenic coastal areas like Kep and a ride up the holy Bokor Mountain. The trip concludes with relaxation on the stunning beaches of Sihanoukville, a coastal city known for its white sands and tranquil waters.

Throughout the tour, participants will experience Cambodia from the saddle, cycling along quiet backroads lined with lush rice fields and ancient temple ruins. The adventure offers a blend of natural beauty, historical wonders, and cultural immersion, with opportunities to visit local families and learn about Cambodia’s past and present.

Included in the price are accommodations in shared double rooms, local English-speaking guides, bicycle rentals, support vehicles, transportation, and meals. However, international flights, some meals, drinks, and tips are not covered in the package.
