Airways Aviation has signed a partnership with Vietjet Aviation Academy to deliver pilot training programmes in Europe. The agreement was concluded in Helsinki during Vietnam’s Party General Secretary Tô Lâm’s official visit and the Vietnam–Finland Business Roundtable attended by senior government and business representatives.
Under the partnership, the organisations will collaborate on Multi-Crew Pilot Licence (MPL) and Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) programmes aligned with ICAO, EASA and the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam requirements.
The collaboration aims to create new training opportunities for aspiring pilots, support Vietjet’s growing international operations and help meet global demand for qualified flight crew.
The agreement highlights strengthened Asia–Europe cooperation in aviation education and a focus on harmonising international training standards.
