The Norwegian ambassador H.E. Anita Nergaard expressed a positive result of a meeting with Singapore Senior Minister of State Chee Hong Tat on 19 October 2020. Her statement said:
“Excellent discussion with Singapore Senior Minister of State Chee Hong Tat on maritime industry & the need to facilitate CrewChange to prevent a humanitarian crisis at sea, disruptions to supply chains & risks to safety & security.”
