Danish Ambassador Sillasen attended BikefriendlyMOA event

Danish Ambassador Grete Sillasen attended on 26 September 2020 the #BikeFriendlyMOA launch organized by SM Cares and SM Mall of Asia Official, one of the biggest malls in South East Asia.

Ambassador Grete Sillasen said at the event:

“Copenhagen is again and again listed as one of the top sustainable, liveable, bike-friendly cities in the world…..it is a process of 50 years of decision-making that put people at the center of how we want to develop our cities…”

Other notable attendees were Hon. Karlo Nograles, Dutch Ambassador Saskia De Lang of the Embassy of the Netherlands in the Philippines,
Col. Bong Nebrija – Commander TF Special Operations,
Hans Sy Jr. SMEDD President and SM Supermalls President Steven Tan.

Mall of Asia has one of the highest numbers in terms of foot traffic attracting an average of 200,000 visitors daily (pre-COVID). With more bike lanes, cooling stations and an increased number of bike racks, they expect to see more bikes on the roads and that mean less traffic and a stronger immune system for all.
