The Embassy of Denmark in Singapore has donated a collection of Danish books to the National Library Board (NLB), strengthening cultural exchange between Denmark and Singapore, In Diplomacy reports.

The books, now available at the National Library Singapore and Punggol Regional Library, include works by Danish authors as well as titles focusing on Danish society, history, and values.

The donation builds on a reciprocal exchange that began during the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. At that time, the Danish Embassy received 60 commemorative books from Singapore’s National Library Board, marking six decades of bilateral friendship.

With this latest contribution, Denmark returns the gesture and continues to support cultural understanding through literature.

The Embassy of Denmark has thanked the National Library Board for its cooperation. In the coming months, selected titles from the collection will also be introduced on the Embassy’s social media platforms to further promote Danish literature, history, and culture in Singapore.
