People in northern Thailand can now apply for a Danish visa in Chiang Mai instead of travelling to Bangkok.
The new visa application centre opened on 1 September 2026 and is operated by Denmark’s service partner VFS Global.
Applicants must book an appointment online before visiting the centre. It is open on Mondays and Thursdays from 8.00 to 16.00.
The centre is located at 91 Siripanich, 1B Floor, Huaykaew Road, Suthep, Muang, Chiang Mai 50200.
The Danish Embassy said the new centre provides a more convenient option for applicants living in Chiang Mai and surrounding areas.
Applications and appointments are available through the Embassy of Denmark in Thailand.
