The Food and Agriculture team of the Embassy of Denmark in Indonesia recently visited the National Artificial Insemination (AI) Center for cattle operated by the Directorate General of Livestock & Animal Health Services.

The Embassy shares that Indonesia has an impressive ISO certified Al program as a tool to improve the quality and productivity of its livestock population. It supplies Indonesian farmers with the genetic material and seeds required for feed cultivation. Clearly, the successful program is also beneficial in helping local farmers as well as farmers abroad in countries such as Bangladesh and Kyrgyzstan.

Indonesia is looking to Denmark to further improve the genetic quality at its Al Center, especially for dairy cattle, the Embassy states.
