On the 4 September 2020, H.E. Ambassador Jon Åström Gröndahl has been appointed Ambassador of Sweden to Myanmar.
Ambassador Åström Gröndahl is resident in Bangkok, but looks very much forward to visiting Myanmar often once the situation allows, and to further deepening the already excellent relations between our two countries.

Just today, there were already 12 unarmed civilians got killed by the state-sponsored terrorist military. 8 people got killed just recently. They are using snipers, hand grenades, RPG towards those innocent people.
Please Call to help injured civilians. There are 24 people in serious conditions. If they can’t access medical treatment urgently, they are highly in risk to lose their lives. The military doesn’t allow any local medical team to enter to South Dagon and also all hosiptals are being seized by them too and waiting to arrest those injured people. The snipers are being pointed their guns to the heads of arrested young people in 56 quarter.
