Finland promotes digital innovation for carbon neutrality at Renewable Energy Asia 2025

Ambassador Kristiina Kuvaja-Xanthopoulos represented Finland at the Renewable Energy Asia (REA) Conference in Bangkok, where she addressed the Plenary Session on Finland’s path toward a carbon-free future.

In her speech, the Ambassador highlighted Finland’s national commitment to carbon neutrality and stressed the importance of digital innovation in accelerating the global energy transition. She pointed to smart technologies, data-driven solutions, and international cooperation as key tools in creating a sustainable and low-carbon world.

Following the conference, Ambassador Kuvaja-Xanthopoulos visited the Finland Pavilion at the ASEAN Sustainable Energy Week (ASEW) 2025, held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC). There, she met with Finnish companies AFRY, SALO TECH, Pinja Group, and SUMITOMO Finland, all of whom presented advanced clean energy and digital solutions.

The Finland Pavilion was open to the public from 2 to 4 July as part of ASEW 2025.
