Finland’s Minister of Economic Affairs, Sakari Puisto, will travel to China from 8 to 10 September with a business delegation of more than 40 Finnish companies.
The delegation will visit Xiamen in Fujian province as Finland prepares to take part as the Country of Honor at the China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) 2026.
The participating companies represent sectors including smart manufacturing, digital services and sustainable solutions.
Finnish Ambassador to China Mikko Kinnunen visited Fujian last week to prepare for the ministerial visit and the Finnish National Pavilion at CIFIT.
The visit is part of the Team Finland network’s efforts to strengthen Finnish business ties with China.
