Finland’s ambassador to Vietnam presents credentials to Laos president

Finland’s Ambassador to Vietnam and Laos, Pekka Voutilainen, has presented his credentials to Laos President Thongloun Sisoulith.

The ceremony marked the start of Voutilainen’s official duties in Laos as a non-resident ambassador.

The Embassy of Finland in Hanoi said the event reaffirmed bilateral relations between Finland and Laos.

Voutilainen is based in Vietnam and is accredited to Laos alongside his Vietnam post, the embassy said.
