Finnish envoys had a busy week in Shanghai

The team of Finnish envoys had a busy week in Shanghai last week starting with a visit to Zhangjiagang on 3 December. Here Consul General Pasi Hellman together with the vice mayor of Zhangjiagang, Ms. Weng Yuren participated in Peikko’s tenth-anniversary celebrations, the Consulate General of Finland in Shanghai said. 

The activities continued after the Finnish Independence Day holiday, with multiple great events held in Shanghai. The Ambassador, Leena-Kaisa Mikkola, visited Shanghai and together with Consul General Pasi Hellman they participated in the 15th Anniversary Celebrations of Valmet Jiading Location. 

On 7 December, the representatives of the Consulate General of Finland in Shanghai took part in the Taste of Finland-Finnish food Focused Event, organized by Business Finland, and on 11 December they had the pleasure to participate in Shanghai-Finland Sustainable Construction Technology Seminar, the Consulate General stated. 

Moreover, the Consulate General shared that the Finnish shipbuilders in Shanghai also celebrated an early Christmas at the residence of the Consul General of Finland in Shanghai with Santa Claus making an appearance during the festive evening.
