
A 55-year-old Finnish man has died after being struck by a speeding motorcycle in Pattaya late Friday night, according to Here Pattaya.The crash happened around 9:40pm on March 20 on Thrappraya Road near Jomtien.
The man was crossing the road when he was struck by the motorcycle. Emergency responders found the man unresponsive and without a pulse.
Motorcyclist also seriously injured
CPR was carried out at the scene before he was rushed to Bangkok Hospital Pattaya, where he later passed away.
The rider, a foreign man believed to be in his 30s or 40s, was also seriously injured and taken to Pattaya City Hospital. He had no identification on him at the time.
Police say the motorcycle lost control at speed, slid along the road and collided with a parked car. Authorities are continuing their investigation.
