Indonesia is strengthening its presence in the Nordic market through coffee promotion events in Finland.

Indonesia’s embassy in Helsinki took part in the Helsinki Coffee Festival 2026 from 17–19 April, showcasing a range of Indonesian coffee products. A similar effort followed at the Tallinn Coffee Festival in Estonia later in April.

Ambassador Ibnu Wahyutomo said the initiative aims to position Indonesian coffee not only as a product, but as part of the country’s identity, culture, and economic potential.

The embassy presented coffee varieties including Arabica, Robusta, and Luwak, while also promoting Indonesian brands to Nordic buyers and industry stakeholders.

Officials said the events have opened opportunities for cooperation with importers, roasteries, and restaurants in Finland, as well as potential expansion into the wider Baltic market.
